maintenance technician


 

H2Oil Disposal and Recovery Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The chosen applicant will be working in the rapidly expanding, fast-paced world of the petroleum industry. Candidates must have basic mechanical knowledge, while technical knowledge of centrifugal systems and reverse osmosis units is preferred. Idea candidates also have great attention to detail and sense of pride in their work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain facility upkeep, including but not limited to

    • Maintaining PH levels on boiler
    • Complete knowledge of conductivity
    • Maintain levels of water transferred to boiler
    • Changing filters for boiler feed
    • Water disposal to SWD well
  • Installs and repairs pumps for service

  • Centrifuge pumps progressive cavity

  • Maintain level of water in line heater

  • Install cam-locks and pipes

  • Adhere to company safety standards and OSHA Safety and Health regulations


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge required to run an E&P waste disposal

  • Basic knowledge of reverse osmosis units, including

    • Vibrational separators
    • Gas powered line heaters
    • Pump operations

  • Prior experience with tank farm & centrifuge operations a plus

  • Knowledge of Bird Flottweg centrifuge separates recommended

  • Experience in the maintenance field, specifically in the petroleum industry is a plus

  • High School diploma or GED preferred

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Current driver’s license required
